Oh Baby! pt 4

This will be the final Oh Baby! posting. The last element added to the "Sweets" gift basket, was a travel wipes holder.

Thanks a Melon!

I made this fun little Thank You card from the "Just Because Cards" Cricut cartridge.

The watermelon was attached with pop-dots to add dimension
Both the watermelon, and the word "melon" were painted with a Flamingo pink Liquid Pearls glaze.

I hope to be back over the weekend with lots of pictures of some baby shower gifts I am making!

Jacob's New Room pt.2

Just a quick post of the project I finished this morning. Then I'm moving away from vinyl for the rest of the day to tackle some ribbon projects.

You may remember the post I did of Jacob's room...this vinyl wall art was inspired by his bedding. It is on one wall, above his dresser/changing table.

(By the way, the picture in the frame is NOT a picture of Jacob.)

Vinyl Obsession

I LOVE craft vinyl! I think it is one of the coolest inventions and the craft medium I reach for most often. Hopefully, you love it as well...or maybe you will grow to love it, because I promise-you will see it alot!

Here is my newest vinyl creation. It's a project I've had in my head for quite some time, though I've never mentioned it to my husband. So I thought I would surprise him with it when he came home from church last night. From start to finish, it took 2 hours. And that includes the 5 different ways I designed it in Cricut Design Studio before finally narrowing it down to my favorite one.

The coloring in this picture makes the name look pink, but it gives you an idea of the size & positioning on the fireplace.

I have a few more vinyl home decor projects planned. Hoping to work on another one this afternoon if the kiddos will nap!

Happy Monday, everyone!

Jacob's New Room

When we decided on an alligator theme for Jacob's nursery, little did I know how difficult it would be to find alligator room decor. Thankfully, I'm crafty enough to at least re-create things I see. I spent countless hours searching the internet for ideas. This design is not original by me, I first saw it on this website: http://lunabellboutique.com/item_1254/SM--Personalized-Kids-Lunch-Box--Alligator-Boy.htm

A little paint, vinyl and a fun afternoon with my Cricut created this hand-made name canvas for my baby boy.

Here are a few pictures of his room:

incredibly talented "Aunt" Mary

I have several more craft projects planned for his room. Stay tuned for the finished product!

Tomorrow, I will post pictures of a few projects I worked on this weekend.

Happy Crafting!

Congratulations!

This was a Congratulations card I made for my Sister to celebrate her recent College Graduation.

I don't remember the paper brands, just some scraps I had in my stash. The "Congrats" was cut on my Cricut, layered on white & pink paper, and attached with Pop-Dots. It was embellished with self adhesive black pearls.

The flower was created using 2 large white Prima flowers, layered with a small pink Prima that was sprayed with Tattered Angels "Pearl" Glimmer Mist and attached with a sparkly silver brad.
